“If I get a chance, I can improve it”, says Raj. He says that his father does not have education and that’s the reason why his family is poor. He wants to get educated, get a job and improve the life of his family.

Raj lives with his father and a brother. His father, Chet, is divorced. Chet works as a farmer and farms the field with bulls and cows all day. Click here to view picture of Chet. With his daily labor, he earns $250 a year. The family couldn’t afford to pay school expenses last year so Raj spend all his time helping his father with his work.

A year ago, Raj failed his exam for grade II and had to repeat the class and never went back to school. He believes he can improve it if he gets another chance.
