Hello, I am Merina Magar. I started working for Ganga Ghar as an intern in 2013 when I was doing my Bachelor of Arts in social work at Thames International College. After graduation, I joined Ganga Ghar as a part-time employee in 2014. In the past few years, I have worked closely with Srijana - helping her with the sponsorship program, and meeting with children and families. I am now very excited to take over as the leader of the Sponsorship Program and to learn more about the sponsors and children. I look forward to being a bridge to connect and communicate between our children and their sponsors.
My Hobbies are to travel, meet new people and learn about them. Working with Ganga Ghar has helped me stay in touch with these hobbies. I've always wanted to work with children and help them grow both emotionally and mentally. Since Ganga Ghar is focused on children’s education, it’s been a perfect match.
I am excited to do more, working directly with the sponsors and children and improving the sponsorship program. I am ready to help!
